I apologize, you new-post hungry followers, for my absence in the blog world the past couple of days. School really picked up, and I found myself absolutely swamped with work. It's the least wonderful time of the year.
Today's mustache: Patrick Scannell
What should you listen to as you get things done today? Beach House. More specifically, their new album, Teen Dream. It will make you wish it were summer time, and if you stand in front of the heater while it's going, maybe you'll be fooled into thinking it is. But, as The Who said, you "...won't get fooled again..." after that, so enjoy it while it lasts. Looks like global warming is here to stay.

Can't Pull The Wool Over; My Eyes Ain't Blizzurred
Today's mustache: Ambrose Everett Burnside
Need I say more?
Team USA defeated Canada in preliminary round hockey tonight, 5-3, at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics (I'm hoping I can come back to this sometime and reminisce.) Great game by all involved, and I've never seen a harder working group of guys. Now, on to the business at hand.
No new picture right now, but if I finish my motion graphics project, I'll have something later. An update to this post will happen.
For now, pleasant evening, everyone (no one.)

Bad Credit App
Listening to Tinchy Stryder right now. Everything the man touches is gold...at least in my opinion. I will admit you have to definitely be into that style of music to like it, but if you are, it's hard to get much better. I'll leave it at that.
Today's featured mustache: Tom Selleck
What is this? I don't know. (Click the link for a higher-res image, if you so desire.)
Have a good Sunday, everyone. Back with a new post tonight.

Check Back Later
I'll start this one with today's mustache: Logan Copley
Right up there with Stossel, Boggs, and Reynolds. Nice work, Logan!
Headed to school right now. Stick around for a big update tonight.

Dog In The Way
I'm eating dinner. It's 11:34 at night. Tuesday-Thursday is like this every week. This Friday will be too. How nice.
Today's mustache: Wade Boggs
Ever watch Modern Family? (You can thank me later.) You may need this too. Or this.
Have a pleasant evening!

Things That Get In The Way Of Schoolwork
Just to type that title with caps on every word was difficult for me. I know it isn't proper grammar; consequently, so did my fingertips.
Today's mustache: Burt Reynolds
And in the spirit of fun, I have to post this too. Jeremy Clarkson saying "I'm Burt Reynolds! I'm the Bandit!"
Anyway, it's time to bang out another motion graphics project. This time, I'm just animating a logo, so it's nothing more than a 3-5 second animation. Who knows how it will turn out.
Time to get cracking.
By the way, it's cold here! Someone bring summer, now!

Hall and Oates
I'm listening to Hall and Oates songs right now. There is no mustache in the world I'd prefer have sing me to sleep. John Oates, I salute you.
On another mustache note, Valentine's Day was yesterday. (No, Bryanne does not have a mustache.) But she did get me an autographed picture of John Stossel! That is the start to my wall of famous mustaches. I am going to start a gallery.
In the spirit of the 'stache, I'm going to post up a good picture of a mustache every day. Hopefully this will keep me consistently blogging, and not writing trash blogs either.
Today's honoree is the man himself: John Stossel

In other news, school is finally fully in gear, and I just finished my first Motion Graphics II project, in which I had to take a "historical" poster and transform it into an animation. I took it a step further, and basically created a commercial, solely using the elements I found in the poster (and maybe a little extra typography, but staying true to the poster, of course). I have to say, as simple as it is, I'm fairly proud of it. It's one of the more professional looking things I've done. It took some time, but I'll either post up a link further down in this, or load the video up, if possible. I'm not sure how that'll shake out, but we'll see. I'm attempting it now:
Well, I couldn't get the video to upload, so I'll link you to here. My Vimeo site.
Let me know what you think...all one reader of this blog. Thanks, Rebecca.
That's it for tonight. The blog train has left the station! Onward to tomorrow.
